A conference was held on 19 March, 2014 under the heading of “Nutritional Supplements: Active Recommendation from the Pharmacy”
The aim of the conference was to focus a spotlight on the role played by the main food supplements in people’s health and wellbeing, as well as how and in which circumstances advice and recommendations can be offered from the pharmacy.
The conference benefited from the contribution of three notable experts: Montserrat Folch, graduate in Medicine and Surgery with a master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics from the Faculty of Pharmacy and member of the Sociedad Española de Nutrición Comunitaria (SENC), as well as author of numerous books on diet and nutrition and regular contributor to the media; Mar Blanco, community pharmacist in charge of the Technical Department of the Asociación Española de Fitoterapia y Nutrición (AFINUR); and María Jose Alonso, spokesperson for Medicinal Plants and Homeopathy for the COFB.
This conference was sponsored by EOPHY, our line of nutritional supplements designed with today’s woman in mind. EOPHY was much in evidence at the conference reception, providing information on the range to all those attending.
